If I am the king - Joe's revised version

Today I am going to announce three significant climate decisions as the king of this country:

• First I urge builders and construction companies to plant 20 to 50 trees for every area they develop. People who fail to comply will face a fine of $2000. Repeat offenders will get their construction licences cancelled and imprisoned depending on the damage of deforestation.

• The following arrangement is to encourage the production of new energy vehicles. By 2025 we will achieve a 50% market share for electric vehicle new car sales in this country, 90% in 2027 and no registration for traditional cars by the end of 2030.

• Finally, we will offer a $2000 energy rebate for any existing household or new home planning to install solar panels.

Meanwhile, I will initiate a climate change conference inviting leaders worldwide to discuss and implement environmental policies and agreements for all countries to follow. I hope these measures will mitigate the climate challenge. They will be signed and take effect next month and be part of our long-term commitment to protect the planet for future generations.

Today I am going to announce three crucial decisions as the king of my country. The arrangements all support the solutions to climate change, a crisis that still existed for over a century.

First, I order builders and construction workers to plant twenty to fifty trees after they deforest them. Larger quantities of tree-cutting bring larger amounts of reforestation and anybody who doesn’t participate will be fined over 2000 dollars. The second time, their tax will increase by multiples of two. The last time they will be sent to prison.

The second announcement is to industrialize more electric cars than brands without renewable energy. In 2025, half of all car factories will produce electronic vehicles. In the following two years, 90% of all cars in my country have to be powered by sustainable power. In another 12 months, every single vehicle must be driven by clean energy.

Finally, houses powered by renewable energy sources like solar power or have just equipped them will be paid $500 every month. If people’s vehicles are powered by sustainable energy, they will receive $200 per every 3 to 4 weeks.

After I have secured this pattern in my country, I will hold a climate change meeting with other Kings and prime ministers from all over the globe to discuss the major causes of climate change, its effects, and develop a list of policies and registrations that every country will follow in the future.

I hope my plan will stop climate change from spreading across the world and the atmosphere which can cause significant changes in habitat and diet in wildlife. Everyone needs to participate in my rules and policies to protect our planet for future generations.
