Earth 2000 Years Later

Imagining our planet Earth 2000 years later if people failed to mitigate climate change, I assume:

Wild animals, such as Jagous, spotted treefrogs and koalas become extinct and only a few living creatures survive which can withstand heat.

Understandably, technology has improved and developed over the centuries but still relies on unsustainable energy sources. Airships become the new popular vehicle instead of cars. Robots took over all the work.

The human population is decreasing rapidly due to the lack of enough food supply since crops and livestock cannot survive in such hot water. Only the rich can afford expensive food, while many others die from starvation.

The ice at the Arctic and Antarctica regions has almost completely melted, leaving just a few floating pieces, which has caused sea levels to rise so much that many people living in coastal countries, like Australia, have to move to the central desert areas.

Temperature keeps increasing, making the planet uninhabitable for most living things, food and resources became rare so countries fight each other creating war zones all around the world.

Earth 2000 Years Later - Joe revised version

In the year 4024, humanity has failed to mitigate climate change despite scientists' warnings. I see a bleak, lifeless future.

Wild animals such as Jaggers, spotted treefrogs, and golden modes are now extinct or seriously diminished, with their habitat and diet destroyed by industrialization and pollution. Only a few living creatures that can endure extreme heat can survive.

Coral reefs are no longer teaming with life. Instead, they are bleached and lifeless without marine animals. The fish have either died or migrated somewhere else, leaving only the sound of dull, rippling waves.

Although technology has significantly advanced, it still relies on unsustainable energy sources. Airships have replaced cars, leaving permanent smog in the misty and damp sky. Robots took over most of the work, producing carbon dioxide through a hole in their heads.

Cities and streets once bustling with joy, excitement, and activities are now barren and hostile environments. Crumpled and battered junk and robots lay scattered on the rusty metal surface of the uninhabitable area.

Furthermore, the human population is decreasing due to the lack of food supplies since crops and livestock cannot survive such hot weather. Only the rich can afford food, while many others die from starvation.

The ice in the Arctic and Antarctica regions has completely melted, raising the sea level rapidly. This has created unforgiving, jagged coastlines in seaside countries. Australians have had to migrate to central desert areas, many dying of heat stroke.

As temperature continues to climb, resources such as oil and coal become so rare that countries fight each other continuously, leaving war zones all around the globe.
